This was truly a special wedding. A beautiful venue, more than 100 guests, and most importantly, Martina and Slávek — an incredibly fun and energetic couple who made the entire day such a joy to photograph. ❤️

From the morning preparations all the way into the evening, it was one big celebration. So much laughter, emotion, spontaneous moments and an amazing atmosphere that seemed to spread to everyone around them.

And this is exactly the kind of wedding I love photographing the most.

Not trying to control or stage everything, but being in the right place at the right moment and capturing what is actually happening. The looks, the emotions, the laughter, the hugs, the little details and the big moments.

And there were plenty of those throughout the day. ????

There was also a slightly different kind of photo booth. I wanted to approach it differently from the usual wedding photo booth — instead of props and small prints, I photographed the guests as classic black-and-white portraits and printed them straight away as A4 fine-art prints on baryta paper.

The first portraits were already hanging on a line before the ceremony, and more were added throughout the day. And judging by the guests’ reactions, they seemed to love the idea — eventually, we even had a queue. ????

But the photo booth was really just a small part of the day.

The real story was happening all around us — and that’s what I wanted to capture. ❤️
